Nursing school was approved in the year 2005-06. It had started GNM course from academic year 2006.it is three half years course established with the aim of providing high standard of training to individual in the field of nursing. Taking into account the need for competent nurses providing compressive care in hospital and in the community, the institute enhances professional training in this area. It is Endeavour to ensures that professionals educated t the area equipped with skills and techniques in keeping with international standards adaptable to latest scientific innovations.

The Institute has its own library with 3212 books, Journals, Magazines and News Papers.

Hospital
The clinical teaching for students are conducted in our Nursing school in our YMT General Hospital and six other well reputed Hospital of Mumbai and Navi-Mumbai. YMT General Hospital has 120 bed capacities. It has all the specialties and well-equipped wards and departments. It has well established Medical, Surgical, Gynecology and Midwifery Wards, ICU. We send the clinical experience in N.M.M.C Hospital, Vashi, psychiatry in Thane Mental Hospital.
Faculty
The faculty at the institute consists of highly experienced and well-qualified tutors. For the subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Community Health, Psychiatry, Midwifery, Pediatrics, Medical Surgical Nursing. It also includes doctors from the other Medical Colleges as guest lectures.
Student activities
The students have its own association and it celebrates various days and entrances various competitions at higher levels.
Academic facilities
The school of Nursing has adequate infrastructure i.e. Laboratories, Lecture halls, Auditorium, Library etc. as per the norms of Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. The students of Nursing school have access to the facilities such as laboratories and Museums of Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Preventive and Social Medicine and other departments in the same YMT Campus.
